Posted on Tue, Dec 23rd 2008 by Site Admin

Organic.Edunet is organising an EU-funded Summer School focusing on the use of Internet to teach Global Warming and Climate Change topics. Interested teachers can have their participation & costs covered by the Comenius programme, if they apply until 16/1 through their national Comenius Agencies.

The course is organised with the support of University of Crete, Greece. The course will take place at the GRECOTEL CRETA PALACE Hotel in Rethymnon Crete. Our aim is in the framework of the course to develop a series of innovative scenarios of use for the Organic.Edunet repositories, helping at the same time our teachers to get familiarised with the use of metadata and the relative existing tools.

Please disseminate this information to your teachers. They will need to contact the Comenius National Agency in order to attend this course. Teachers have to ask for the specific Application Form or download it directly from the websites of National Agencies. They will need to complete the Application Form and send it to the National Agency until 16th January 2009.

Note again, that the deadline for these applications is 16th of January 2009 (for courses beginning after 1st April 2009) in all National Agencies of «Long Life Learning Program» in all EU countries. The National Agencies will give an answer until end of March 2009.
